The Sunny Solar team last week installed a 4.24kW grid connect system in Cooya Beach. This system comprised of 16x 265W ET Elite solar panels with a 4kW SMA SB4000TL-21 Inverter.
This customer has regular power outages and had been given some shady advice from another company about Hybrid Inverters being able to power his house direct from the panels in a power outage - without batteries.
As we feel storage systems are still over priced, we installed the newest 4 Pole generator changover switch and socket to isolate the system and power the house from an existing generator smoothly and efficiently. Even with the price of a brand new generator, this option is by far the most reliable and cost efficient.
